There are two methods for making Terrazzo steps: Terrazzo precast slab inlay and on-site pouring construction.
The inlaying method of Terrazzo step precast slab is the same as that of tile and stone.
Method I of cast-in-place Terrazzo treads: cleaning - setting out - finding the treads and risers of the whole staircase - shaping - plastering the surface of the terrazzo - solidification - coarse grinding - slurry wiping - fine grinding - slurry wiping - installing anti slip strips - polishing.
Method 2 of cast-in-place Terrazzo treads: the method of erecting formwork and cast-in-place stair steps is adopted. After pouring and hardening, the formwork is removed, and then the anti slip strip on the treads surface is installed, and the treads riser is polished. This method is not commonly used, usually in situations where the budget is sufficient and the requirements for engineering quality are particularly high.
Cast in situ Terrazzo steps are highly technical and require experienced technicians to complete them.
Terrazzo steps can run through the entire space design line, connecting the preceding and the following, and improving the integrity of the site design. On this basis, it is durable, safe, aesthetically pleasing, environmentally friendly, and easy to clean.
